Family camping at Park Foot, Ullswater

We are a family friendly holiday park. We welcome bookings from families and couples looking to enjoy the wonders of the Lake District. Family camping in Cumbria can provide a wonderful holiday for a wide range of families. Camping at Park Foot provides you with a vast array of activities and facilities both on the park and in the surrounding area, so you can be assured that your children will be entertained. The park is large enough to remain peaceful for those looking for a more tranquil, relaxing camping break. Park Foot is also close to a number of Lake District family attractions, including the Ullswater Steamers, and our staff will happily help you plan a day’s activities.

In welcoming specifically “family campers & couples” to Park Foot it follows that there are some campers that we are unable to accept. We realise that different people have different holiday requirements and simply acknowledge that we cannot be “all things to all people” without compromising the service that we offer. We therefore do not accept single-sex groups and non family bookings. Maximum of two pitches per party. (two families only) We do not allow groups of more than two families .

Duke of Edinburgh groups are welcome and must be booked in advance.

Out of consideration for those with young families, we ask that there is no noise please between 11pm and 8am. If there is an issue during your stay, please call our office number on 017684 86309 which will be directed to security after office hours.

Tents, Touring Caravans and Motor Homes

Electric hook up pitches (16 amp for Super electric pitches, 16 amp for Premium electric pitches and 10 amp for Standard electric pitches) are available on a fine camping gravel or hard standing to accommodate touring caravans, tents and motor homes. These must be booked in advanced. Car parking is on your pitch. A digital TV aerial is required in the Lake District to receive signal.
