Holiday Centre of the Year 2015

Get again a spectacular 87% in our AA Report! Accompanied with some lovely comments:

"I received a warm welcome at Reception, where all the tear wear new attractive Polo shirts with a logo stating their well-earned AA Holiday Centre of the Year 2015 clearly displayed. Major new investment within recent years ensures a balance between guest facilities and attractions, with a wide choice within amenities blocks and good privacy options. An additional 12 tent pitch electric hook ups is a further example of a year on year policy to enhance the guest experience, and the hard working grounds team ensure an immaculate presentation with with neat pitches and stunning displays of pretty seasonal flowers.

During a tour of the smart amenties blocks, I had the opportunity of meeting Rob and Deb and complimenting them on a diligent approach to cleanliness.

I wish Fiona, Barbara and all the team the continuing success they thoroughly deserve."

The AA have voted Park Foot to be "AA Holiday Centre of the Year" gaining 87%!

The AA Report writes: "A lively park with good outdoor sports facilities, and boats can be launched directly onto Lake Ullswater. The attractive, mainly tenting, park has many mature trees, lovely views across the lake, and a superb amenties block in the family-only field. The Country Club bar and restaurant provides good meals, as well as discos, live music and entertainment in a glorious location."

In a stunning location, surrounded by dramatic fells and overlooking Lake Ullswater, Park Foot Caravan & Camping Park provides the perfect base for exploring the Lake District National Park. Set on the shores of Ullswater it offers a superb and memorable holiday destination for families who wish to enjoy a range of activities while benefiting from exellent onsite facilities. Pitch density is generous and most, including tent pitches, have electric hook ups. There are three touring areas, each with its own modern and very well-equipped amenity block - the Aikbeck camping field has direct access to the lake. The park has its own beach and launching facilities, so boating and canoeing are very popular activities. Pony trekking, mountain biking, tennis and fishing are also available on the park. The Country Club bar and restaurant is open each evening providing a wide range of interesting meals, from breakfast to dinner; large screen TVs; and regular entertainment in high season. The park also has a well stocked shop; two excellent adventure playgrounds; a games room; and a summer kids club. There are also many areas where you can simply relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings, including direct access to Barton Fell for some wonderful Lakeland views.
